È veramente fantastica e si può gustare anche fredda, nonostante io preferica la  versione calda, da bere nelle fredde giornate invernali avvolta nella  coperta di lana fatta dalla nonna.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;Ho  diverse amiche sudamericane e grazie a loro sto scoprendo un passo per  volta le meraviglie culinarie dei loro paesi di origine. Quando il  mercato orto-frutticolo lo permette, faccio scorta di platano (la grande  banana) per poi tostarlo (le fettine tostate si chiamano &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;tostones&lt;/span&gt;) e gustarlo con del guacamole fresco, o prendo  mango e papaya per farmi delle rifrescanti e vitaminiche macedonie;  raramente trovo la manioca, un tubero nero dalla polpa bianca che una  volta cotto è una delizia per il palato, simile in cosistenza alle  nostre patate. Ma tra tutte le ricette, con carne, con peperoncino, con  spezie e cannella, quella che mi ha colpita dritta al cuore è stata  quella del Pinolillo. &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;La leggenda vuole che fosse la bevanda preferita dagli dèi.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://lallatomelilla.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/pinolillo-coppa-e-frusta.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="width: 190px; height: 190px;" class="alignright size-full wp-image-72" title="pinolillo coppa e frusta" src="http://lallatomelilla.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/pinolillo-coppa-e-frusta.jpg" alt="" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;La  bevanda è tipica del Nicaragua e ho avuto modo di gustarla in una  tipica tazza, ricavata da una zucca secca e intagliata con m&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;otivi f&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;ol&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;kloristici. La preparazione del Pinolillo è una tradizione in Nicaragu&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;a &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;e  c'è pure una canzone che ne spiega la storia: quando preparano il  Pinolillo, le donne nicaraguensi usano una sorta di mestolo-frustino,  che fann&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;o gir&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;are tenendolo fra le mani mentre le fregano l'un l'altra. Se si sente un ticchet&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;tio,  allora il Pinolillo sarà buono perché la donna è già "collaudata".  Questo semplicemente significa che la donna è sposata, quindi &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;sa  come badare a una casa (mettiamola così, è un po' più osé in verità), e  il ticchettio che si sente niente altro è che il suono che fa la vera   fregando contro il frustino! ;)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;Ecco la ricetta&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://lallatomelilla.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/farina-bona.jpg"&gt;&lt;img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-73" title="Farina bòna" src="http://lallatomelilla.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/farina-bona.jpg?w=150" alt="" height="112" width="150" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;(farina di mais, o &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;farina bòna&lt;/span&gt;)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Le quantità vanno &lt;em&gt;"a stima"&lt;/em&gt;, dipende dai gusti di chi la fa (e la beve!!) :)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;In un pentolino versare del latte, della farina di mais (in  Svizzera abbiamo la &lt;span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(0, 102, 0);"&gt;farina bòna&lt;/span&gt;) e del cacao in polvere. Unire una  stecca di cannella e, a piacere, dello zucchero. Far cuocere rimestando  con cura con un frustino. Poco a poco il latte inizierà a gonfiare: è il momento di togliere il pentolino dal fuoco e rimestare vigorosamente finché il  latte non si abbassa di nuovo. Lasciare riposare e poi gustare filtrando  prima i pezzi di cannella. La consistenza risulterà corposa (per via  della farina).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;Come vedete è molto semplice.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;Per chi avesse &lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 51, 102);"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;un'intolleranza al latte&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;, può preparare il Pinolillo anche con l'acqua. Il gusto varia leggermente, ma vi assicuro che è delizioso anche così.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;&lt;strong style="color: rgb(102, 51, 102);"&gt;Oltre alla cannella&lt;/strong&gt; si può aggiungere una foglia di limone, ma personalmente non amo molto questa versione.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align:justify;"&gt;La ricetta originale prevede cacao in polvere, ma &lt;strong style="color: rgb(102, 51, 102);"&gt;chi non dovesse amare il suo gusto amarognolo&lt;/strong&gt; lo può sostituire con semplice cioccolata in polvere. Ma sono talmente entusiasta che non posso farne a meno! :D&lt;br /&gt;Il giardino d'inverno è una specie di stanza fatta di grandi vetrate, come una veranda chiusa da finestre. Ebbene, entro la fine dell'autunno avremo un giardino d'inverno proprio qui, con una splendida vista sul lago. I nostri padroni di casa sono venuti a farci visita questa mattina per esporci i loro progetti di ampliamento della casa, che per ora concernono semplicemente la trasformazione del nostro ampio balcone in un giardino d'inverno. Non devo dirvi che siamo elettrizzati all'idea! La superficie vivibile maggiore della casa è per l'appunto questo magnifico balcone, che sovrasta il lago e ci offre un panorama da favola. Il sole ci raggiunge all'inizio del pomeriggio e, d'estate, non ci lascia fino al suo tramontare (20.30-21.00); un ulteriore punto a favore è sicuramente il fatto che il sole non vi picchia direttamente, lasciandoci quindi una rinfrescante zona d'ombra. Adoro questo panorama!&lt;br /&gt;Inoltre potremo tenere tutte le nostre piante e i fiori all'interno di quella che diverrà la sala da pranzo d'inverno, mentre d'estate potremo aprire le porte-finestre per ricreare il balcone. But I'm so excited about it! :D&lt;br /&gt;A winter garden is like a room made of glass, like a veranda (porch) with windows. Well, we will have a winter garden built in our balcony, with a wonderful lake-landscape panorama. The landlord went this morning visiting us to speak about his ideas: he wants to make our house bigger, and he wants to begin from the balcony. This is the biggest room of the house, so it would be nice if we could use it all the year and not only in summer. That will be amazing, because the sun shines all the day from 13.00 to 20.30-21.00 in summer, but it doesn't reach directly the balcony. So we have  shadows there. To watch the lake out of the window is something I can't describe. I just love it. :) In the cold seasons we will put our flowers and plants inside the winter garden, which will be our dinner room. Sono di una bellezza mozzafiato, hanno  forme e colori tanto eleganti da sembrare creazioni di uno stilista di  alta moda. E qui la stilista è Madre Natura, di fronte alla quale mi  inchino per la sua ennesima meraviglia. Ricordo la gioia provata il giorno in  cui mi hanno regalato la mia prima Orchidea: i fiori, grandi  tondeggianti e perfetti, erano appena sbocciati e si mostravano in tutta  la loro perfezione. I petali erano serici, bianchi e dal morbido  profilo perlato. Solo il cuore del fiore era di un rosa intenso, come se  un piccolo lampone ci fosse caduto dentro, lasciando dietro di sé  qualche lieve e piccola macchiolina. Una visione.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;I just love Orchids. They are so beautiful, with shapes and colors that could be drawn by a stylist! The real big stylist is in fact "Mother Nature": chapeau, madame!! I remember the lucky day when I became my first Orchid: I was so happy!! The flowers were big, rounded and just perfect. Their white petals seemed to be made of silk, they had a pearly soft shape. Only the heart of the perfect flowers was pink, as stained by a little raspberry. Poi una mattina mi sono  svegliata e Lei, la mia Orchidea, aveva iniziato a perdere turgore, le foglie si erano afflosciate e i fiori, splendidi delicati fiori, erano seccati e caduti. Non  erano i fiori ad allarmarmi, avevano ormai compiuto il loro ciclo  vitale, ma le foglie. Così decisi di comprare del fertilizzante  creato appositamente per la mia adorata. Un nuovo rito ebbe inizio:  nebulizzare, fertilizzare, osservare. Il funerale ebbe avuto luogo due  settimane dopo. Un velo di tristezza accompagnò i giorni seguenti,  finché il sole primaverile non spazzò via ogni amarezza. Era rimasta  solo la risoluta fermezza che mai, dico mai, avrei preso un’altra  Orchidea.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Day by day I was looking at my superbe Orchid, spraying (atomizing?) fresh water on her. Week after week it became like a rite: spray and admire. Then one day, when I woke up in the morning, I saw my lovely Orchid dying. The leaves were pale and went limp, the silky and soft flowers had dryed! :( So sad. Well, if the flowers were over, it really didn't matter. So it's a flower life. But why wer&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;e the leaves so battered? I bought a "magic bullet" and  wat&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;ched the results day after day. No way. Two weeks after we made the orchid's funeral. I was depressed, I really loved my Orchid. Ho traslocato in un  appartamento piccino, ma confortevole. Due grandi finestre danno su un  balcone di 12 metri quadrati, il sole manca per qualche mese d’inverno,  ma ci accarezza fino a tarda sera d’estate. E soprattutto, non ci  arroventa:  non picchia mai direttamente sulle finestre. Arriva un nuovo  compleanno e la mia dolce metà, sapendo del mio amore per i fiori,  decide di regalarmene due… rientro dal lavoro e mi sembra di sognare, il  mio incubo peggiore è lì sul tavolo. Un’Orchidea bianca e un’Orchidea  viola, mi sorridono dai loro vasi. Sono stupende. Cerco di nascondere le  mie sensazioni al mio compagno per non sconvolgerlo, e lui interpreta  le mie lacrime come uno sfogo di gioia. Ormai è fatta, non posso certo  fargliele portare via. Le posiziono sul davanzale della finestra che  abbiamo in sala. E ricomincia il rito, giorno dopo giorno: nebulizzare e  adorare. Stavolta con molta apprensione. Passano le settimane e cresce  la consapevolezza che presto tutto finirà. Nebulizzo. Fertilizzo.  Aspetto il giorno nero. E lui arriva implacabile: le foglie si sono  afflosciate.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;About two years ago I moved to a new apartment, were I have a nice window: it's very sunny and light, but the &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;sun doesn't shine directly on the pane. For my birthday my boyfriend decided to give me a special present: new Orchids! I saw them on the table when I went back from work. I was surprised and happy and scaried. Oh no, it will be so sad when they will die! But I couldn't tell to my sweethoney that I didn't want more Orchids in my life, so my rite (admire and spray) began again.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt; Every day expecting the black day: the death of the Orchid.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Con la disperazione negli occhi cerco conforto tra le  braccia del mio compagno, che mi prende il viso tra le mani, mi asciuga  le lacrime e mi sossurra “Perché non fai loro un bagnetto?” Un bagnetto?  Mi lascio convincere senza opporre la benché minima resistenza, prendo  le mie adorate piantine e le immergo nell’acqua tiepida che riempie il  lavandino. Aspetto un’oretta, le sgocciolo ben bene e le rimetto sul  davanzale. Giorno dopo giorno, seguo il mio rito: nebulizzare, osservare  e sorprendersi. Di settimana in settimana, meccanicamente, faccio il  bagnetto alle mie Orchidee. Un nuovo, collaudato rituale. E mi sorprendo  sempre più  perché è ormai giunta la primavera e con lei è arrivata  pian piano anche l’estate. E loro sono ancora lì, con me.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;I was so sad when I finally saw the leaves almost dead, and I looked for comfort by my boyfriend. He told me to soak my Orchids, to dip them in some water and leave them one hour like that. That became the new rite: spray, nervously watch at them, once a week a bath. Surprisingly they survived. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Una mattina, mentre preparo l’acqua da  nebulizzare sulle Orchidee con la cura con cui una mamma prepara il  latte per il suo bambino, la scoperta: sui rami recisi di entrambe le  Orchidee sta crescendo qualcosa. Con il tempo nasceranno foglie e  radici, lunghe e sode radici. Wow, le mie Orchidee si sono riprodotte.  Ora la mia famiglia si è allargata, sono quattro! Decido di recidere il  ramo proprio sotto la nuova piantina in entrambe e le posiziono in vasi  di vetro, aggiungendovi qualche scheggia di corteccia. Passa un anno e  le mie meraviglie sono ancora vive. Sono felicissima, ma un solo  rimpianto mi stringe il cuore quando vedo quelle piante in fiore sugli  scaffali dei negozi. Le mie non fanno fiori. Sono vive, sì, ma senza  fiori.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;One morning I discovered new leaves on a cutted-off limb! Wow a new Orchids are growing here! Both Orchids, the lilac and the white one have made a new plant. I saw new leaves growing first, then new roots! E perché dovrebbe essere per  me?” Mi prende per mano  e mi conduce vicino alla finestra: tre rametti stanno spuntando dalle  Orchidee!! Rametti, non foglie! O mamma mia, i fiori! Stanno nascendo i  fiori!! Ero al settimo cielo, per il  mio compleanno, se tutto filava  liscio, avrei avuto tre Orchidee in fiore. Da nebulizzare. E soprattutto  da ammirare.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;At my boyfriends birthday we discovered a big present: new limb were on the new 4 Orchids!That would mean that in novemebr we would have flowers! And so it happend. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Le orchidee sono fiorite 3 volte in 9 mesi, senza interruzione. Adesso ci sono gli ultimi fiori che a poco a poco ci stanno lasciando, ma ho notato che, invece di partire con la quarta ondata, la pianta ha deciso di far nascere nuove foglie e radici. Bene! :)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;M&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;y Orchids&lt;/span&gt; made 3 times flowers in 9 months, without break. The last flowers are drying now, and I saw that there will not be a fourth growth. The Orchids have planned to do new leaves and new roots! Le mie hanno  radici verde-biancastre opache, che diventano completamente verdi e  lucide quando sono imbevute di acqua. &lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Every day spray some water on the leaves and roots (these lasts should be dark green after and no more like a dull white-green).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;una volta alla settimana fare il bagnetto alla propria piantina.  Riempite di acqua il lavandino e immergetevi il vaso con l’Orchidea.  Basta poca acqua. &lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Once a week make a bath to you Orchids&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;One hour is enough.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;se volete, di tanto in tanto date un po’ di fertilizzante apposito  per Orchidee. Ce ne sono in commercio di liquidi, da vaporizzare come  fate con l’acqua.&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt; If you want you can fertilize them. There are some spray fertilizer that you use as you do with water.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;quando i fiori seccano e cadono, tagliate il rametto sopra al terzo  nodo dal basso. Da me sono nate nuove piantine che potranno essere poi  ripiantate. &lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;When flowers die, cut the limb on the upper side of the third node from the bottom. Ho passato diverse giornate con lei da sola, quando ero bambina, e l'ho amata tanto. La adoro tuttora. Beh, vedere che mi ha di nuovo riconosciuta, che i suoi occhi sono tornati a risplendere come il cielo d'estate, mi ha alleggerito il cuore e la mente.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Today I have visited my grandma and I found her fitter than what I expected. Nel cestino ci sono diversi pomodori datterini, tre cetrioli, il primo peperone giallo, il primo finocchio, una zucchina e un cavolo rapa. Abbiamo preso zucchina e melanzane (queste ultime frutto del raccolto di sabato) e le abbiamo rosolate con cipolla e aglio in poco olio evo. Abbiamo aggiunto un pizzico di sale marino alle erbe, del peperoncino in grani, e le altre spezie per fare il guacamole. Una volta cotte le verdure, le abbiamo frullate finché sono diventate una crema corposa. Io l'ho mangiato con delle carote a fettine, mentre il mio compagno ha provato le tortillas chips naturali. Beh, direi che il gusto è delizioso, la consistenza è piû croccante di quella dell'avocado, e il tutto è molto più leggero! ottima&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;"&gt; idea&lt;/span&gt;! :D&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;We wanted to eat guacamole as appetizer, but we didn't have any avocados at home. So we decided to do a &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;aubergine-zucchini-guacamole&lt;/span&gt; with our vegetables. We put chopped aubergine,zucchini, red onions and some garlic in the pan and roasted it with some olive oil. Then some see salt with herbs, some chili pepper and other spices for guacamole. We put all in a mixer and mix it until it is like a crunchy cream. I tasted it with some carrots, my boyfriend with tortillas chips: sooo delicious, you can't imagine! It taste like regular guacamole or even better, and it's lighter! Nice idea, we will do it again in the future! Dato che questa settimana è molto impegnativa e ho poco tempo per inserire nuovi post, ho pensato di lasciarvi in compagnia dei nostri splendidi fiori. Iniziamo con la foto di una pianta pendente che abbiamo salvato da un raccoglitore per gli scarti verdi: si è ripresa alla grande e assieme alle petuniette rosse e a una verbena riccia salmone chiaro (nascosta) impreziosisce la legnaia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;I'll be very busy this week but I  don't want to let the blog without a new post. So I decided to put some  pictures of the flowers we have in front of our house. The first picture  shows a plant we found in a compost, we decided to bring it home and...  look how it is today! Ecco che ha inizio un'altra splendida giornata estiva. Il termometro segna 25.3°C all'ombra, dovrebbe salire fino ai 32°C entro il picco massimo della giornata. Uff, se non fosse per l'umidità, sarebbe una temperatura ancora accettabile, invece ci tocca sudare anche a star seduti! I think this year the temperature are not hotter than last year, but the umidity has increased, so that we sweat also by doing nothing! Yesterday we put the new little pool in the garden (so refreshing!) and we met three new friends: the first one is a caterpillar of an &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;Old World Swallowtail (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(0, 153, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;Papilio Machaon&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;)&lt;/span&gt;as you can see in picture one (by me on a fennel) and as a butterfly in the picture taken from the web. Next friends are a &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;giant grasshopper or locust&lt;/span&gt;, that I find disgusting (she was laying her eggs in our vegetable garden), and a spider that in italian we call &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 204, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;"cross spider"&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;because of the white cross it has on the back. I HATE SPIDER! Finalmente sono maturate le prime verdure del nostro orticello. È da qualche giorno che teniamo d'occhio pomodori, cavoli rapa, melanzane e peperoni, che cerchiamo tra le foglie zucchine e cetrioli. Mmmm... già sento gli intensi sapori di queste ottime verdure! Devo ancora pensare a come le mangeremo, ma lascerò fare a cuore e fantasia!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ma non è tutto: per decorare un po' la casa, ho raccolto qualche fiore di Ortensia, che ho scoperto essere di un brillante color fucsia misto a un viola indaco. Bellissima! Naturalmente anche le erbette crescono rigogliose e il prezzemolo ha già formato un bel boschetto. Ne ho raccolto i rami più lunghi e grandi, li ho tritati e messi in un vasetto a congelare. La ricetta l'ho letta stamattina sul blog di Angela &lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://ohsheglows.com/"&gt;Oh She glows&lt;/a&gt;, andate a curiosare, è favoloso! ;)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Our vegetables garden has finally given us some vegetables! :) Since 5 days now &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;we &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;are looking for red tomatoes and lila aubergine (eggplants), looking through the leafs for hidden zucchini and cucumbers... and today we found them! Some tomatoes, 2 cherry tomatoes, 1 zucchini, 1 aubergine, 2 cucumbers and a lot of chard (? I don't know if it's the right translation, the name is &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;font-family:courier new;" &gt;Bieta vulgaris Cycla-Chenopodiaceae&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;). Mmmm I can taste the flavour of all these vegetables right now, slurp! I think I'm going to do an omelette with the chard and a lot of different herbs which also grove in my vegetable garden. Inoltre la mia dolce metà non rientra per pranzo e io posso concedermi un pasto semplice: &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;l'insalata di fagioli di soya e ceci&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_jm1CMb9ncNs/TDrcNmx70MI/AAAAAAAAABQ/DnWK8OifsSw/s1600/blog+008.JPG"&gt;&lt;img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_jm1CMb9ncNs/TDrcNmx70MI/AAAAAAAAABQ/DnWK8OifsSw/s320/blog+008.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5492944821838139586" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Si tratta di un'insalata molto gustosa, ricca di proteine, che io abbino sempre a pomodori e una buona dose di erbette fresche.&lt;br /&gt;La sera prima metto a mollo la quantità di fagioli necessari in abbondante acqua  fredda, così i fagiolini e i ceci hanno tutta la notte a disposizione per gonfiarsi e ammorbidirsi. Naturalmente vanno cotti, ma visto che andranno in insalata, posso già metterli in pentola di mattina presto, quando ancora fuori è fresco.Nell'acqua di cottura metto un po' di brodo vegetale e dei rametti di maggiorana e alcuni di santoreggia, che ha un sapore che ben si sposa con quello dei fagiolini. Una volta tolti dal fuoco e scolati,  toglierò i rametti ormai stracotti. Va lasciato raffreddare il tutto e poi, almeno una ventina di minuti prima di servire, va condito come segue: innanzitutto taglaare a cubetti un bel pomodoro maturo (oppure usare dei pomodorini cherry), tritare del prezzemolo e un po' di cipolla bianca e un po' di quella rossa (le quantità variano a seconda dei gusti) e del sedano.Faccio una salsa con della senape di Dijon, pepe, un pizzico di sale marino alle erbe (ma proprio poco) e ancora delle fogliette di santoreggia fresca, un pizzico di aceto di mele e di olio extravergine di oliva. Mescolare il tutto, condire e lasciar assorbire. GNAM GNAM! :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;It's so hot outside that I feel like if I was in a sauna! When I feel like that I don't like to eat warm nor I want to cook using the oven nor the hob. My sweetheart is working all the day so I decided to prepare a &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;soya beans and chickpeas salad&lt;/span&gt;. It's simple but it taste so good! Yum! :)&lt;br /&gt;The night before I put the beans and chickpeas in some cold water and let them soften all night long. The I boil them early in the morning (it's still fresh outside) with some savory and marjoram. About 20 minutes before I dish it, I dress the soya beans and chickpeas with a normal dressing (olive oil, pepper, sea salt, dijon mustard and apple vinegar), a chopped red tomato, some chopped red and white onion and some fresh savory. Oggi vi propongo la torta di castagne, una goduriosa dolcezza che vi farà leccare i baffi! Per le signore a dieta, mi dispiace, non fa per voi. Qui si assumono calorie solo a leggere gli ingredienti! hehehehe È una torta che io adoro mangiare soprattutto in autunno e in inverno, con una tazza di caffé fumante. Oppure mi soffermo a guardare i fiocchi di neve che scendono lievi a coprire il mondo con un soffice e freddo manto bianco.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_jm1CMb9ncNs/TDiyJsrx3tI/AAAAAAAAABA/7fMGwSdwhGQ/s1600/torta+castagne.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_jm1CMb9ncNs/TDiyJsrx3tI/AAAAAAAAABA/7fMGwSdwhGQ/s320/torta+castagne.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5492335625261670098" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Ingredienti per una forma tonda con cerniera di 25cm&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;200 gr purea di castagne (si trova il salsicciotto nel reparto dei precotti e della pasta sfoglia),&lt;br /&gt;100 gr di burro morbido,&lt;br /&gt;3 uova,&lt;br /&gt;1 bustina di zucchero vanigliato,&lt;br /&gt;125 gr di zucchero a velo,&lt;br /&gt;un goccio di Kirsh,&lt;br /&gt;150 gr di mandorle tritate.&lt;br /&gt;Cioccolato da copertura.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Procedimento&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Preriscaldate il forno. Lavorate la purea di castagne con i 3 tuorli e conservate a parte gli albumi. Quando avrete ottenuto un composto cremoso, aggiungete lo zucchero vanigliato, lo zucchero a velo e il Kirsh e continuate a lavorare la massa. Infine aggiungete il burro e le mandorle. Sbattere a neve ferma gli albumi e incorporare dal basso verso l'alto alla miscela. Quando il composto è liscio e omogeneo, versatelo con cura nella forma per torte dotata di una cerniera. Se foderate il fondo con un po’ di carta da forno si staccherà meglio dopo la cottura. Infornate a 150°C per 55minuti (forno normale), poi sfornate e lasciate raffreddare. Prendete il cioccolato da copertura e fatelo sciogliere secondo le indicazioni (o a bagnomaria o con il microonde) e poi spalmatelo su tutta la superficie (bordi compresi).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Se vi sembra che con il cioccolato resti troppo pesante, potete alleggerirla (anche se di poco) spargendo semplicemente dello zucchero a velo sulla parte superiore.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:times new roman;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Saturday is the &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;font-family:courier new;" &gt;experimenting-in-the-kitchen-day&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;! :) I'm not a good cook like my mom, but I like to eat, so from time to time I do some experiments in my (very) little kitchen. The recipe I propose you today is the  chestnut-cake, a delicious cake my mom does in fall-winter. I like to eat it with a cup of coffee, sitting in my  favorit armchair in front of our fireplace (chemny?), maybe reading a good book or simply watching  the snow out of the window. It's not a cake for persons that are on a diet-plan, this make you put on weight just by reading the  ingredients list! ;) hehehehe&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:courier new;" &gt;Ingredients needed:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;200gr chestnut purée (vermicelles)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;100gr butter&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;3 eggs&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;1 vanilla sugar&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;125gr pouder sugar&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;a bit Kirsh&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;150gr crushed almonds&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;melting chocolate to cover the cake (topper?)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:courier new;" &gt;How to do it:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Put in a bowl the chestnut purée with three yolks (the yellow part of the egg) and mix it until you'll have a cream. Then incorporate vanilla sugar, pouder sugar and a bit of Kirsh. Mix it again. Next incorporate the butter and the almonds and mix it again all together. Whip up the 3 egg-whites and incorporate it to the mix. When you'll have a smooth cream, put it in the cake-backing-pan for 55min at 150°C. After the 55 minutes, ake it out the oven and let it air cool. Cover the cake with the melting chocolate or with some pouder sugar. Quando l'abbiamo preso era ridotto maluccio, con l'erba alta alta che sommergeva due bellissime rose, dai colori vivaci e dal dolce profumo di nettare. Al costo di una sudata tremenda e&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"  &gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt; di 5 fiacche per uno, siamo riusciti a smuovere la terra e a creare le aiuole. Non abbiamo dovuto andare a cercare chissà dove, le lastre erano ammuchiate alla bell'e meglio in un angolo del prato. Con le restanti piode e lastre abbiamo costruito un giardino-bonsai (vedi foto 1): con poca terra fresca e un po' di pazienza siamo riusciti a far crescere delle Bocche di Leone e dei fiori dei quali non conosco il nome (vedi foto 2); lì accanto abbiamo posto un vaso con una pianta grassa e un vaso con un'ortensia rosa. Nel mezzo c'è un sasso-vulcano, ossia un sasso nel quale si è creato un cratere per mezzo di gocce d'acqua, che giorno dopo giorno, plic dopo plic, lo hanno scavato. Il muretto che c'è dietro al giardino-bonsai delimita la piccola aiuola dedicata alle erbette quali prezzemolo, erba cipollina, rosmarino,... Presto ci sarà un raccolto e non vedo l'ora di mostrarvi che bellezza di zucchine o pomodori ci regala tanta fatica! :)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: times new roman;font-family:lucida grande;font-size:130%;"  &gt;Sorry for my bad english! :) &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: times new roman;font-family:times new roman;font-size:130%;"  &gt;Since two months my boyfriend and I are working in our new garden. When we recieved it, it was like a jungle, plenty of weeds everywhere. The two beautiful roses were completely hidden! I love these roses, they smell like honey and lemon, so fruity! We had to work a lot to create a vegetable garden, because of the weeds and stones in the lawn. We decided then to edge the vegetable garden, in order that the weeds could not reach it and grove over it. We could use some paving stones we found in a corner of the garden, and those were so many, that we could do a bonsai-garden too (see first picture). I don't know the name of both flowers in english, but they are really cute. Next to them we put a kind of desert plant and a pink Orthensia (Hydrangea), and between the two pots there is a volcano-stone: it's a stone where drops did dig a crater.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: times new roman;font-family:times new roman;font-size:130%;"  &gt;The vegetable garden is going to give us some vegetable very soon.
